New Year is upon us

Check out the new business card. They will be included with your FREE CD tomorrow night at our NEW YEARS SHOW!! Old You with Megan Jean & The KFB @ THE MILL The Mill!! We are beyond stoked to celebrate the night with all our wonderful friends at The Mill and are honored to share the stage with such talented musicians as Megan Jean & The KFB.

Thank you, everyone, for supporting us throughout our tremendous journey this year; we have come a long way from our first shows at Norm's Pizza. I have a feeling 2011 is going to be yet another year of exponential growth, we have a lot to learn...and compose. We are so grateful for all of you who come out to hear us, and even those who just happen to be there. So, thanks, and cheers to the new year!!

Love always and forever,
Old You

Sat.ur.day already

Our good friend John Chilton had a great art show this past thursday at Icaphonos in Mt. Pleasant. We had a blast playing for him and his friends. There were so many wonderful people that we got a chance to talk to.  A brilliant sound guy, and a great chef and host.

Our new favorite cover song (as requested by Chilly) White Rabbit > Somebody to Love we just debuted it on thurs. and fri.

Friday we played a great show at Rooftop on Vendue Range. Despite all of the loading hassles, It has become one of our favorite venues. We recorded this show quite successfully and we may put up some of the audio soon. (also thanks Joel for the cards).

And speaking of recording, we are starting a 3 day recording venture today, and should hopefully have a solid set of songs for everyone to enjoy in the near future. We left our show last night at about 10pm and came home and worked on the studio until about 4 am., but man does it look good (hopefully it will sound good).

And on a final note, everyone should come to The Mill in Park Circle this tuesday to get your pre christmas fix of Old You before everyone goes home to see their families.

Awendaw Green Festival was a hit!

So this past weekend, we closed out the first night of the 3rd annual Awendaw Music Festival. It was a blast, lots of great music and collaborations, I got to sit in and play guitar with my brother in the Firework Show for a few songs, and then he came and sat in on our entire set. Glow sticks and lights galore, we tore through the blistering cold evening and couldn't stop smiling through the whole event.

Diggin in Deep, and Laying Low

The whole festival was filled with great atmosphere, good food and beer, thanks Eddie White @ Awendaw Green for putting on a great show and Glyn Cowden for the wonderful pictures above.

We can't wait til next year.
